Live like you’re in the middle of nowhere—while being close to everywhere. At Saddlehorn, you’re only a few minutes away from the artisanal village of Bigfork and the famed Flathead Lake. And beyond are four million acres of wilderness to explore, including the glorious Glacier National Park and Jewel Basin.

Here, you’re just a mile or two from a night (or day) on the town. Nestled on the bay of Flathead Lake, the neighboring village of Bigfork has one of the quaintest downtowns in the West, with fine art galleries, fine dining, theater, watering holes, and a farmer’s market.

Known as the Backbone of the World and the Crown of the Continent, the park is renowned for its history, wildlife, rugged beauty, and the Going-to-the-Sun Road. A scenic 45-minute drive from Saddlehorn, the park offers hundreds of miles of hiking trails, sightseeing, and guided tours.

You’re just a hop, skip and jump to Flathead Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake in the West. With a pristine expanse of nearly 200 square miles, the lake is ideal for water sports of all sorts, from wakeboarding to paddleboarding. And, of course, fishing to your heart’s content.

Discover a hidden gem in the Glacier region’s crown. At the Jewel Basin, you can wander more than 15,000 acres of wilderness studded with 27 alpine lakes. Explore off trail to find and fish at the more secluded lakes. Or follow 35 miles of hiking trails flanked with trees and dotted with wildflowers.
